Walk- Wade Fishing

Nothing beats the feeling of wading into freely flowing cool mountain water while presenting flies to a dazzling variety of trout species.  We offer two unique wade fishing adventures to meet the needs of any angler from beginner to advanced.

1. Private Water Arkansas River: Enjoy access to parts of the river that see less pressure, allowing the fish to grow to a larger size and see fewer flies than public waters.

 Let's go Creeking! 

Our smaller stream trips are ideal for all skill levels and families. They offer a great escape from summer crowds and a chance to catch Cutthroat, Brown, Rainbow, and Brook trout, primarily with dry flies.

 Fish The Dream Stream

The Dream Stream, a Gold Medal section of the South Platte River, offers large and vibrant Rainbows, Browns, and Kokanee in the fall. It is recommended for experienced anglers.

At UpRiver Fly Fishing we strive for the best experience possible, that is why we limit our wade trips to a 2-to1 client to guide ratio.  We do offer 3-to-1 client to guide ratio, however it is only recommended for experienced anglers on a case by case basis on public water.  This is not an option on our private water trips.  Please call to (719)395-9227 to discuss the option of a 3-to-1 client to guide ration.
