Echo 84B Rod
The Echo Eight Four B fly rod is the newest innovation from the brilliant mind of Tim Rajeff. Measuring at a length of 8’4”, this rod can cast both big and heavy flies accurately, no matter the conditions. The “B” in the title stands for Bass, as this rod was developed with bass anglers in mind. But don’t let that steer you away. This is the perfect rod for fly anglers who want to be versatile with just one setup.
Blank
Graphite - Echo builds the 84B out of a high-quality graphite. This graphite construction meets a fast-action that can handle inclement weather and a wide range of line choices. The combination of this blank’s progressive taper and softer tip provides accuracy as well as all of the power you need when pulling a fish out of structure.
The 84B sports a clean olive look that has an at-home feel pretty much anywhere you’re targeting bucketmouths, smalljaws, and even the peacocks of southern Florida.
Reel Seat
Anodized Aluminum Reel Seat - An anodized aluminum reel seat makes for a lightweight choice that can stand up to a range of environments. An uplocking design keeps things tight, while the finish and choice of metals ensures that you’ll be flipping toads with this stick for years to come.
Rod Tube
Echo packages their 84B in a rod tube and sock. The Cordura tube is squared off instead of round to prevent it from rolling all over your truckbed when you’re en route to your favorite lake, and its rigid design ensures things are always safe and sound.
Warranty
As of November 2024, all Echo rods are covered by their warranty policy for the natural life of the rod for its original owner, wholly at the discretion of Rajeff Sports. The warranty for Echo rods is covered by a service fee, and/or if the rod is discontinued or non-repairable, Echo will offer an equivalent replacement at 50% of the MSRP. Echo’s warranty applies to any damage that occurs while on the water, so whether you’ve snapped your rod on the fish of a lifetime or the wind quickly changed direction while throwing a heavy stonefly, Echo has your back. However, Echo will not cover damages caused by general neglect, whether that be your rod getting closed in a car door or your dog using the cork as a teething ring.
