Browns Creek is a small-stream fishery that feeds the Arkansas River, joining in browns canyon national monument. The upper stretches of this creek below Mt. Shavano offer public access and secluded, higher-elevation fishing opportunities. Expect quantity over quality with many small trout residing in the pocket water here.
Current Conditions
With the majority of runoff now lower down in the system, flows are settling, and the water is clearing up. Fishing in these small tributaries right now should be very good.
